Guicardi says the event, now in its fourth year, is a space for leaders to share lessons from AI transformation, and that CI&T hopes attendees leave with tactics and strategies for creating impact with the technology. He describes CI&T as an AI deployment company that applies frontier models to clients’ complex realities, and argues that giving employees access to AI tools and a little enablement is not enough. In his view, organizations need to revamp workflows and deeply integrate AI with legacy applications and data to see transformational results.

Guicardi also discusses why he believes many pilots fail to scale, pointing to incremental gains, rising token costs, and the need for a clear vision of what the change means for the workforce. He says CI&T has used AI across its own business and describes its approach of aiming for five to 10 times impact and starting with high-value use cases he calls lighthouses.
